1. About BioStub

BioStub is a free profile link creation service that allows you to generate a shareable profile page and QR code containing links to your social media accounts and websites. No account registration is required. All information you enter is processed via URL parameters only and is not stored on our servers.

2. Acceptable Use

You agree to use BioStub only for lawful purposes. The following are strictly prohibited:

• Sharing links to illegal, harmful, abusive, or fraudulent content
• Distributing malware, phishing pages, or other malicious content
• Impersonating another person or organization
• Infringing on intellectual property rights, including copyrights and trademarks
• Publishing content that is obscene or contrary to public order and morals
• Using generated QR codes for malicious purposes, including phishing, scamming, or directing users to harmful content
• Any use that violates applicable laws or regulations

3. Third-Party Services

BioStub displays links to third-party platforms such as Instagram, X (Twitter), YouTube, and others. We are not responsible for the content, availability, or terms of those external services. Your use of third-party platforms is governed by their respective terms of service.

4. Disclaimer of Warranties

BioStub is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Use of the service is at your own risk.

5. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, BIOSTUB AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES (INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION) ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue BioStub at any time without prior notice. We may also update these Terms of Service at any time. Your continued use of the service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan. Regardless of your location or place of residence, you agree that any disputes arising from or in connection with this service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance.

8. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable under applicable law, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

Privacy Policy

1. Information We Do Not Collect

BioStub does not require account registration. Any information you enter into the form — such as your name, social media IDs, or website URLs — is encoded directly into the URL query parameters of your browser and is never stored in our database or any server-side storage. BioStub does not retain, process, or have access to this data on any central server.

2. Server Access Logs

For the purpose of operating and maintaining the service and preventing unauthorized access, standard server access logs may be temporarily recorded. These logs may include IP addresses, access timestamps, and request URLs. This data is used solely for security and operational purposes and is not shared with third parties.

3. Google Analytics

BioStub uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4), a web analytics service provided by Google LLC. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect anonymous usage data, including pages visited, browser type, device type, and approximate geographic location. This data cannot be used to identify individual users. GA4 applies IP anonymization by default, meaning your full IP address is never stored by Google Analytics.

BioStub is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information through our service, please contact us.
